The company intends to use the funds to establish itself as a leading developer and provider of prosthetic technologies, launching its first product.
Led by CEO Maynard Carkhuff, Xtremity is a medical device brand that offers prosthetic socket technology. The company’s first product, the XtremityTT, is a transtibial socket that can be effectively reshaped with heat, which allows for rapid fabrication and future adjustability by using advanced, proprietary polymer materials that allow for quicker fittings and easy adjustments for both patients and prosthetists.
